The Canadians make their eighth appearance, one of six NOCs to appear in every Olympic Women’s Curling event. Two Gold Medals, in 1998 and 2014, one Silver in 2010, and two Bronze in 2002 and 2006.
Representing Canada are out of the Ottawa CC in Ottawa.
Skip Rachel Homan makes her third appearance, debut in 2018. One of those appearances was in Mixed Doubles.
Second Emma Miskew makes her second appearance, debut in 2018.
Third Tracy Fleury, Lead Sarah Wilkes, and Lead Rachelle Brown make their Olympic debuts.
The team staff include Coach Renee Sonnenberg, National Coach Viktor Kjell, and Team Official Heather Nedohin.
This season, Team Homan has played in nine ranking events. A record of 49-12 in 61 games. Five wins, including the GSOC Tahoe, GSOC Masters, GSOC Tour Challenge, Canadian Olympic Trials, and PointsBet Invitational, among nine Play-Off appearances.
Team Homan is #1 on the World Curling Team Ranking, ahead of Silvana Tirinzoni of Switzerland.
The Canadians are favored to win at -154, with -833 to reach the podium.
